Senior Programme Manager

We are supporting a Public Sector client to appoint a Senior Programme Manager on a permanent basis with a salary of £59,796, based in Hindlip, Worcestershire.  The closing date to apply is 4pm on Thursday 28th January 2021. 

Our client is looking for someone who can come in and take over an in-flight, large scale, Digital Transformation Programme and drive it through to successful implementation.  The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) structure, integrity and coherence of programmes, leading and supporting the delivery of the multiple projects within the key programmes of work. 

Candidates applying for this role must have the following skills and experience:

• Relevant Degree / Level 5 qualification and professionally recognised programme management qualification (e.g., MSP Methodology, Prince 2)
• Experience of having run large scale technical transformation Programmes (only experience of running Projects rather than Programmes is not sufficient).
• Significant, proven and demonstrable experience in Programme Management within a complex multi programme/project change environment within governance frameworks.
• In depth knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes, including digital transformation programmes.
• A good working knowledge of Lean system thinking (desirable).
