Value Match are supporting a not for profit strategic business consultancy based in the North East of England who are looking for a motivated Procurement Officer to join their energetic and growing team, with a salary of £25,000 - £28,000 on offer.
Our customer offers a number of core services, Business Transformation Delivery, New Build Development Consultancy and expert efficiency drive Procurement Consultancy solutions. The successful candidate will report into the Head of Procurement and undertake a range of activities to support and create innovation procurement solutions for the organisation, it's Customers and Supply Chain Partners while having a full awareness of and supporting the achievement of the business objectives.
Candidates applying must have the following skills and experience:
- Understanding and management of procurement processes and experience of creating effective solutions
- Understanding of public sector procurement and frameworks
- Knowledge of different phases within a typical construction project
- Excellent communications skills - able to work collaboratively
- Proactive and an excellent problem solver
