Value Match are looking to appoint a Procurement Analyst to join their growing procurement team on a permanent basis. This role will be hybrid -remote working (home working plus onsite customer presence required based on customer need) with customers based around Tyne &Wear/North Yorkshire, with a salary of £20,000 - £25,000 (depending on experience)
We are looking for a driven individual who can support the delivery of our procurement solutions and build effective relationships both customers and suppliers, with a focus on spend data, marketing and analysis. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow their career in procurement and work across a variety of categories and projects.
The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:
- Experience of managing end to end procurements
- Experience of using e-procurement tools / systems
- Self-starter and possess a strong analytical mindset and able to interpret data
- Driven individual who is committed to learning and growing within an organisation
- Strong Microsoft Excel Skills or data analytic tools
- Able to prioritise and manage workload effectively work across multiple projects
- Stakeholder engagement skills and able to build effective relationships with customers and suppliers
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Desire to or currently working towards CIPS qualification
- Understanding of public sector procurement – desirable
- Understanding of quantitative and qualitative research with experience of supporting desk research for projects
- Experience of developing marketing material (for example developing articles and blog posts for our website or preparing case studies to demonstrate our impact)
