Assessing the skills system in the context of the UK’s transition to Net Zero is inevitably a complex undertaking. I am indebted to the expert input and advice given by the UK Climate Change Committee (CCC) and the independent Workers and Skills Expert Advisory Group. The report’s recommendations focus on ways in which government can better support the entire skills system.
