McKinsey Global Institute report examines future of work after the COVID-19 pandemic. The report attempts to identify lasting impact of the pandemic on labor demand, the mix of occupations, and workforce skills required, as well as the implications for business leaders, policy makers, and workers. Research shows that the short-and long-term impact is concentrated in four work arenas with high levels of proximity: leisure and travel venues (including restaurants and hotels) and on-site customer interaction including retail and hospitality.
