There is now a 40% chance of the average annual global temperature reaching 1.5ºC above pre-industrial levels in at least one of the next 5 years.

By 2050 the heatwave summer of 2018 will be a typical summer, summer rainfall could fall by 24% and winter rainfall increase by as much as 16%.
