NHS is the largest employer in Britain responsible for around 4% of the nation’s carbon emissions. It is for this reason that the NHS are committing to tackling climate change by reducing their emissions.

Reaching the UK’s ambitions under the Paris Climate Change Agreement could see over 5,700 lives saved every year from improved air quality and 38,000 lives saved each year from a more physically active population.
