Competition and Markets Authority is the UK’s primary competition and consumer authority. The CMA has a range of consumer protection law powers to tackle practices and market conditions that present challenges for consumers and hinder their decision making. More than half of UK consumers take environmental considerations into account in their life and are increasingly seeking to shop sustainably.
