Value Match are supporting a Higher Education provider just outside of Bath for the recruitment of a Procurement Specialist This is a permanent role with a salary of £28,762.00 on offer. This is a hybrid position with the successful candidate working on site on Tuesday and one other day each week. 

Working to support the
Procurement Manager, the successful candidate will be provide an efficient and flexible procurement service which will deliver optimum value for money, cost savings and best quality of service across key departments within the Organisation.

You will work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Schools and Professional Services to ensure appropriate service levels are achieved.  

Candidates applying for this role should:

  • Be educated to degree level or equivalent work experience
  • Have a procurement qualification (CIPS) or be working towards completing one.
  • Have significant experience in working in a Procurement role in a large, busy environment.
  • Demonstrate experience of analysing and reporting statistical information to management
  • Have strong collaboration skill when working with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Take a methodical approach to work with strong organisational skills. 
  • Excellent IT skills including Gmail, Word, Excel, and database and finance systems.
