We are currently supporting a Private Sector organisation, who provide services into the Public Sector, who are looking for a Procurement Specialist. This is a permanent position based in Warrington with a salary of up to £22,000 on offer.
The successful candidate will report into the Procurement Delivery Manager and will be required to deliver support and advice as part of the Procurement Delivery team to customers and other stakeholders. To work as part of a team to identify opportunities to increase spend and identify savings for customers assigned whilst supporting individual customers with procurement activity, demonstrating the highest ethical and professional conduct behaviours to our client’s customers.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE the following experience:
- Studying CIPS or equivalent post graduate qualification or the depth and breadth of experience equivalent to the education level
- Experience in a similar role covering Procurement, Supply Chain, Buying or Category Management
- Strong analytical skills and proactive enquiry approach
- Customer service focused with strong communication (written and verbal) skills
