Category Manager

We are supporting a Public Sector client based in Warrington who are looking for a Category Manager to join their team. This is an interim role for a 6 month period with a day rate of between £300 – £450 on offer.

This role will support the organisation to deliver procurement and sourcing activity in a compliant and timely manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering compliant OJEU processes whilst also negotiating commercials to achieve value for money, the successful candidate will also be responsible for contract and supplier management throughout contract duration.  

Candidates applying must have the following:

• Hands on experience of running OJEU procurement processes (5 years +)
• Experience of working within Government Commercial Operating Standards and adopting and delivery a category management approach
• Experience within the Facilities Management Category and/or General Services
• Security Cleared (SC clearance)
• MCIPS
