Following the recent Procurement Policy Note 06/21 which sets out how buyers should take into account suppliers’ Net Zero Carbon Reduction Plans in the procurement of major Government contracts, Value Match would be interested to hear from professionals who have expertise within this area in order to build a talent pool of professionals. This will support the government’s commitment to achieving Net Zero by 2050, which comes into effect for all relevant procurements advertised on or after 30th September 2021.
We would be looking for individuals who would be able to support Value Match and our customer base to develop carbon reduction plans and associated documentation including the calculations of current carbon emissions and setting out the environmental measures as part of the tender process.
If you have the following expertise, we would love to hear from you:
- Knowledge of energy and carbon reporting and calculations
- Understanding of carbon reduction plans and Net Zero 2050
- Understanding of environmental management and carbon reduction measures
